Welcome to Climate Campus

The Climate Campus is a partnership of over 40 parties. They  have said a resounding ‘Yes’ to make the city and the Delta resilient to climate change, now the consequences of climate change are becoming more noticeable all over the Netherlands and in the rest of the world. The ambition is to excel in applying new and existing knowledge and technology and to work on intense cooperation between government, residents, businesses and institutions. It's about connecting the international professional world of knowledge and innovation with the local community. On the 1st of December, the Climate Campus will launch its first action plan.

The parties endorse the importance of developing climate-proof deltas. Excelling, accelerating and capitalising on climate adaptation form the common threads in the development of the Climate Campus. A wide range of organisations have joined, such as government institutions, consultancy firms, nature and environmental organisations and education institutions. In addition to these usual partners also housing associations, parties from the agri-food sector, the trade association of landscapers, and data and geodata parties and other internationally-operating parties have joined. Several Climate Campus partners have been actively involved in iniatives in our demonstration delta for some time now.
Curious to know the partners? Interested in becoming a member too? Send us an e-mail via klimaat@zwolle.nl.
