First stretch of 'climate street' in the Assendorp neighbourhood in Zwolle

Water authority awards first 'Klimaat Actief!' subsidy to residents' initiative.

Living on clean ground with no problems from water or heat: that will be the result when four neighbours and property developer DJOntwikkeling are finished in the Seringenstraat in the Assendorp neighbourhood in Zwolle. With the help of water authority and municipality, they're getting to work on making the street climate resilient, by applying smart solutions to the renovation of new garages, soil sanitation and the redesigning of gardens. This initiative is the first one of its kind to receive the 'climate subsidy' recently made available by the Drents Overijsselse Delta water authority.
